            Looks like a nice Forestry cap. My only observation is that the Luftwaffe ones I have seen and had always had the Luftwaffe winged wreath instead of the standard Forestry style.

                    Cap itself looks ok, but the oakleaf wreath is not correct for LW forestry or the other way round the eagle is not correct for a State forestry cap.

                      First one is a standard Forst visor with a LW eagle in place of the State eagle. Should have a winged wreath. Not outside the realm of possibility, but I find it unlikely. If there is an extra pair of holes under the LW adler, then it was converted. No way to prove wartime done.

                      Second hat could be legit--same deal. One would have to look for extra holes in the pasteboard and the imprint of a Forst Mutzenkranz.

                      Someone once put a pic of a nice textbook LW forstdienst Officers on one of the forums--it had the green backing to the wings. One is also pictured in the Shutt book.
