            Personal I have my doubts about it.
            I have seen some years ago some boxes full of such caps w/o insignias over in Europe. But everybody might has his own view about it.

              Yes, It's for sale on Manions. I have seen a few of these caps years ago (before the WAF forum) and I had my doubts about them back then. Another collector to me it was indeed a late 1944/45? He said the insignia was correct for that late peroid.
