Goring Headgear

The quality of this Goring cap is just incredible...I've never seen a softer material than what that hat is made from. I haven't fondled anything that soft since I was in my 20's

The Reichsmarschall sure had a taste for quality, as anyone who had the chance to examine Gorings hats and uniform at the Max would know. Unfortunately, that doesn't translate in photographs.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my questions. I would love to see a close-up if possible of the piping on that absolutely gorgeous diplomatic visor with the scream'n gold celleon insignia. The piping I have seen looks almost like a gold metallic material spiral wrapped around no glow thread in the center and then woven into piping. It looks cheesy, but I have seen it on some high end general's late war crushers and M-43's. Thanks again,

Well thanks so much for showing an original Hermann M43 cap..I figured sooner or later one of these would surface since he was such a clothes horse.. Wonder how many of them (HG m43s) have already been found and discarded to the trash can after the veteran passed away..Billbert
