I am not a hat expert, or an expert on any TR, but I have been going to the Chicago area shows, and have spent many $$$ at his tables. He is professional, friendly, and will always give a no hassle refund if you don't like the item. I don't go to the national shows, just buy online otherwise. IMO he compares favorably to any well- known dealer like Ruptured Duck, Wittmann, Johnson, etc. As to the appearance of all these SS visors at once, I know Kris handles consignments. I wonder if this means that someone thinks the prices are peaking. And what is the big secret about the hat shape? Another trick quesion about TR - like when the price disappears after the item is sold online. "If you don't know the answer, I don't need to tell you"

I agree, he is a nice guy, and has a lot of good stuff--just not all of it. And yes, the Dr is selling his stuff thru his website, and they share tables at the shows. NTZ and I are being coy because we have gone over the red flags on this forum about hats just like this generals many times before--please read them, people--its all there for your benefit.

I have nothing against the seller. He has some killer stuff. Remember; don’t let your feeling get in the way of an objective analysis of an item. That is just pure sheep mentality. Also, not everyone even understands what to look for in rebuilt items. I probably see many more than any dealer. I am sent caps to inspect every day.Comment

I am not crazy over the General's cap either. The PZ officer would be a cap that I would really have to examine.
The 2 officer's crushers look good IMO, I especially like the first one and it is priced at about the right level for what it is. There have probably been less than 10 REAL SS officer's crushers posted on this forum in last 8 years or so....they are almost impossible to find and buy.Comment

Only 1 out of the group of hats has received really negative comments - that is above average for the dealers put to the microscope on here. I just wish I coud afford to pick through them & buy one. I have dealt with the dreaded "Dr." too - you just have to be a critical buyer.
