Greg, what's up man? not known you to loose it like this before.

Rule No.1 The item(s) have to stand up on their own. Stories of who bought them from who and when etc etc are worthless.

It's simple. Post detailed photos of the items being questioned and if real, you won't have to defend them. They will speak for themselves.

It is obvious Greg &/or a buddy have as steak in this. Greg, bring the visor and the tunic to the SOS. I have no problem giving my opinion in person. If the visor is a POS I will tell you to your face. That is just the way I roll.

Exactly, the RK and DKiG docs are howlers. You can't defend something like getting Schmundt's signature upside down on the RK doc. You don't need to handle, sniff or hold it in your hand. Nor for that matter do you need a phd, be able to read German, have lived through the war, owned Adolph's underpants, have collected for 50 years or anything else. Just a pair of eyes and a a bit of common sense.

You know that is the ONLY thing that was not good in the collection, as I stated.......... you know it, so go ahead and have a ball on what I have already said. No one could have collected what sold in this collection, not all the private papers with special awards to him, named engraved items from the family, Licences, personal correspondences, letters from other higher ups, to his Bund Cap to Unique Bund award etc.. Plus all the stuff in his Autobioghy. That stuff was NEVER on the market at any time, so if it was collected up please show me when/where/so on.....

I'm done, (for now) lol.. also I don't have photos of the collection anymore as I gave them back to the last owner.

thanks and looking forward to more

Why bother. It's all complete conjecture without any decent images to study.

Good to see. Is it just me or is the fact that Mohawk handled this auction enough in itself. Mohawk say it came from the daughter in the 80’s. Most seen it in the 70’s. What one is it? Love to see the name tag in the tunic. I have 10 to 1 odds it is a cloth type with white stitching.

By the way for those ho have not seen this before, it is definitive proof that the whole “daughter” story don’t jive. Here is one of the docs that allegedly came from the “daughter”. Next is a copy of the NARA microfilm of this “exact” document. The originals were handed back to the West German government after the US filmed them. I guess this blow the “daughter” story out of the water.
