The cap looks real enough from these pics. The skull looks like a probable, but with pins broken, I assume. The eagle looks wierd. What's the price?

I personally don't like the cap. Not talking about insignia (don't study SS insignia), only the cap. The weave direction of the front pieces. The weave texture of the cap band. The rzm stamp, looks suspect. If I'm wrong then I'm missing out on the deal of the century for that little money.

I noticed that too. Left side is usually vertical versus angled, yes? That said, is that enough to really worry about, in and of itself?

Like Brian, I can't speak to the eagle. 'Generally' the cap itself looks okay to me but then I'm no 'pro' as some are.

Eagle's bad. The skull's a Deschler M1/52, whether it's original or not I'd need a clear shot of it.

I think the body is okay, if you don't mind the crashed-out inside.

Replace the insignia, fine.

What will the next buyer think??
