Like I said on the treath (but it was removed ) I don't like this cap at all. Contruction is wrong. Edelweiss is post war.

I would be glad to send this cap to Glenn or any reputable dealer for a third party hands on inspection.

While the Edelweiss has been confirmed as post war, I truely beleive the rest of cap is original.

Here is one of my mountain caps, it has a M40 eagle like yours but the construction is from realy high quality comparing to yours. Also area behind the buttons is nice a rond, yours is sloppy.
