      A better example is on pg. 298...no crowding and a nice bullion set with metal traditions device.

        This tradition badge (Apothekentotenkopf) was worn by the 1st and 4th comp. of Infanterie Regiment 17, as well as by the 4th squad of Kav. Regt. 13. In the 30s, the wear was extended to other formations into these two regiments.

        But what's interesting, is that at the beginning of the war, this badge was officially replaced by the prussian totenkopf (the same as the Pz one, see APC's pic) ; and also that it was worn again in the Kav. Regt Süd in 1943, that became later the Kav.-Regiment 41.

                      Hi All,
                      here are some quickly snapped photo`s of my example though i am not 100% happy with it because the detail is pretty poor, but as of yet have not completly disowned it! i brought it approx 20 years ago
