Who makes the Sonderklasse Marked Visor

Guy's, I have had this visor for a while and have wondered who made them.

It is often impossible to answer and a guess is often the only way.

I have seen other Army piped variants of this marker mark, anyone shed some light, or their's for the thread. I think I have seen a transport before on here.

    regards

pic 4, the waffenfarbe is orange red, not orange or red.

          Hi sturmbannfuhrer,

I believe the transport visor you are refering to is mine. I have no clue either who made it and certainly wouldn't mind learning about its origin. Mine is definitely an early piece and I believe your capband also tends to have this "resada-shade" to it... the construction appears to be very similar.

Marvelous cap Kurt, I knew I'd seen a transport one before. Your insignia is awesome. The more 1st pattern army's I see the better. I only have one, a Spohn and Kleiber Artillery, bought off the e-stand.

                Keep them coming.

That transport is a work of art! I love it.

I personally love these early examples too. So few examples survived. If you really want to "keep them coming", we should think about a seperate thread for them. (Don't want to contaminate this discussion ).

How about this, I'll start with an early Panzer and you throw in your Spohn and Kleiber Artillery...?

Anyone any idea on the Sonderklasse maker?

Whoever "Sonderklasse", IMHO, all these hats were made by the same maker--they use similar construction traits. Some uses a 1/2 roll-over, and other hats have the full roll-over. The peaks aren't sky-high, but are nicely padded. If we ever find an early political one with an RZM tag, this mystery will be solved.

This is what I am talking about--medium peak with nicely padded sides:

They all use a nice yellow-silk lining:
