The piping is lemon yellow, which is Signal, but the cap is imo. Jacques

I have seen this one posted before (I believe) several years ago on maybe on this forum or perhaps the old GDC forum before the new set up...

I remember the buttons and a good bit of discussion.......actually a fairly large dealer was associated with that presention of the cap, but I can not recall the specifics right now.

                  Maybe a search would help.

Was this cap offered and sold by "Relics of the Reich" or perhaps another dealer about 4 or 5 years ago?

                    Thanks

I also vaguely remember the hat. I liked it when I saw it posted some years ago. Now I don't know as there is more information on piped caps.

                        weird

Looks weird... a Waffen SS (NCO pattern) altes model cap with signals piping with added officers chin cords...
The chin cord buttons btw are Royal Dutch Army used on pre-war Shakos but also on post war Dutch visors (styled after WW2 British visor caps)
The chin cords and both insignia appear to be authentic
(eagle has lost its prongs obviously...) the rest is a BIG question mark to me...???

Nothing I'd want to see in that type of visor.

SJP said it right, not much to like about this one.
