    Early LW flight visor

This visor has a faint shadow of the maker on the lining. If anybody thinks they know what it might be, please give me a hint!

    Regards,
    Kevin

Here's the faint maker marking. Sorry, this is as good as I could photograph it.

                Hi Kevin,

About the marking, you should try a black light.
Sometimes, it's more easy to read markings.

Kevin, based on the outline I have my money on Ce-Ha Prima aka Carl Halfar. He made a ton of Luft caps.

Thanks, guys. Nick, you don't happen to have a photo of the logo you're thinking of, do you? I was hoping that the ellipse that is visible would be a good hint to somebody. I found nothing like it in Wilkins' headgear book.

Here is a late war private purchase with the logo. My guess is the early ones were a bit different.

Looks like it could be the LEPARO mark, no?

The Leparo logo (below) seems too stylized. The major feature of the marking in my cap seems to be a very simple ellipse.

Bingo!! Thanks, Brian. It was even in the book, I can't believe I missed it!
