    This is a great period box.

    I sell modern repro's to my own spec, but if you want an original, XAV's has to be one of the best offered for sale in ages.

      I have added the following to the e-stand thread, so i will add it here too.

      gynecology is a specialist area of medical knowledge, I think you still have to train as a standard doctor before you can move into a specialist functionary.

      This doctor's skills in normal medicine would have been required by the German Army for the geezer's, whilst his expert hands would be invaluable to inspect the "field mice" helferins when required.

      Don't let the doctor's specialisation in civvy street be used as a downer on this wonderful piece.

        The box states that this maker made all types of hats civilian as well. My question (not knowing about this subject) is, is this box the same as would be for a military hat? Also, I believe that if they are the same type boxes, there is no way to be sure that this man was in the service. I would suppose that this would not matter too much if the box is the same type box for a military hat. The only problem would really be to be sure that this one was used for a military hat. Not sure how much of a difference that would make anyhow.
