I'd like to hear your opinions on this sidecap, the eagle is handstitched to the cap, but I'd like to know if it's war period applied or not.

Hi,
insigna has not original stitching. The thread is not properly for this kind of use. Althought the cap has externally a good aspect, cloth and nice rivets, the internal lining is unusual for this kind of caps and the stamp is bogus.
My opinion.
