Does any know propaganda from transport?

I was just floating around the web today and noticed many transport visors being sold as propaganda by dealers. The funniest is Weitze’s site. He has two visors with the EXACT same shade of piping. One is listed as prop and the other trans. For god sake all you have to do is look at a few transports shoulder boards and you can get an idea of the range of color. I hope anyone purchasing a prop posts it here first. I have only seen a few I knew were prop by the piping. Kind of like the medical/chaps story I guess.

I have seen traceable Artillery, Chaplain, Signal, General, Pickelhauben, Tschapkas, Peltmutze.....but never a orignal traced from the family Propaganda hat.

No, but I a great test for the piping is match it up to a Bauhnschutz EM/NCO. That has true gray piping.

A good idea for comparison!
My photo has not come out well, but (from the left) Propaganda Officers, Bahnschutz NCOs, Transport Officers.
The difference between the first two and the Transport is quite clear, but I suppose 'dirty' white can become 'light grey'. However, if the colour is consistent in each of the three places (top, middle and bottom) that should give you a good guide.

That sure looks a lot like the one I have which I think is propaganda. There is a distinct difference between that and the transport as you have shown. Jacques
