Opinions on this Luftwaffe Officer's Visor

I'm out of my element here, so I'd like to turn this one over to the pros. I know I need more schooling, but I don't get a good feeling from this one. I went over it inside and out with a blacklight, and there are no glowing threads anywhere. The makers mark says "Alleste Berliner Uniform Mutzenfabrik -- Berlin SW Wilhelmstrasse 110

Do a search for alleste and you will find the info you seek. This is not a good visor.

With Visor collecting, as is all 3rd Reich collecting, it just takes a lot of studying and patience.

Strangely enough, I though the cap was good BECAUSE I had seen the maker's mark before. I bought one of these 21 years ago, only with metal insignia, when I was 15. Never in all those years did I hear a bad thing about it from any of the collectors who saw it, and I sold it about six years ago for around $400. That makes me feel like crap now.
