Looks promising BUT the sweat shield looks to be wrinkled...meaning a soft plastic...and not a 1940's hard (stiff)
      celluloid brittle plastic...
That's a concern I would have... Is it hard or soft material?

OK that's good! The wrinkled appearance of the sweat-shield just made me wonder, but its just worped I guess, if its hard and brittle, I like it. The visor does not have the typical typical blue lining for KM... but thats OK at least the maker is located at a port!
Good signs to me! Insignia looks good too!

Run as fast as you can. Bad cap!

This cap has some things that I like and some that I don't. I like the insignia and the age on the visor and the way it is attached to the cap. I have concerns with the interior. I don't feel comfortable with the gray sweatband or the lining. I would have to feel the sweat diamond. The warping that Nick mentioned looks 'funny'. Gebirgsjaeger, I guess you were runnun' away so fast that you couldn't back up your instant condemnation with any observational reasons.

I've written Solo to explain my position. There are many threads written on this subject by M.Legrand and G. Williamson. It is easier to take the time to view these and learn how NOT to get screwed when buying a KM cap

Hello all, I have just seen this thread after some days out of home, and I agree with Gebirgsjäger, not a KM original cap. Emblems looks OK but I don't like the visor, you can not fiond an originla one with the green backing, and the inside, the sweatband and the liner.

Carlo, I would pass on this .
