panzer officers cap

Hello,
My oncle bought this cap on a flea market in germany. It is for sure not a replca cap, and hopefully a panzer officer's cap, but what do you think? IS this a ww2 cap or a post-war cap?

De silver piping is made really nice into the cap.

it does not have the standard buttons, but there are also no button holes, so that does match the rivets.

What would be the age of the cap? Did they all have this type of rivets at the font and the silver piping?

I'm trying to understand why, so can someone answer these questions? I always like to know the details before I totally believe something.

1. What would be the age of the cap? (50's, 60's etc ?)
2. Did they have this type of rivets at the font
3. Did they originally had the silver piping?
4. From what details can you most easily identify a post war cap?
