Intriguing Werkschutz (Factory Protection) M-43 Cap for review...
(offered by a dealer and fellow WAF member).
Such pieces are very hard to document and authenticate though...
Note WS metal eagle has been modified and stitched on...+ grey leather sweat band?
+ open dish zeltbahn like buttons?...
(modern shiny pebbled buttons were replaced? makes you wonder!!)

Nick...I can't comment on your M43-style cap, but I have a Werkschutz visor with the same eagle.

pretty neat.

I like the darker cap eagles for the werkschutz but this is a neat set up. Doesn't look like it was ever worn.

but why would they allow the eagle to have holes drilled in it? kind of strange for such a bold divergence in uniform customs.
