          Visor

If you are asking opinions about it being a soft visor or "crusher" then I would say no it is not, simply a squashed cap. Got a political visor that looks just like that...It had been in a small bag for over 60 years till I found it a few months ago. Just my opinon, Alex

This one looks like an original enlisted/nco infantry visor cap that has had the pasteboard and sweatband removed from it thus losing its original shape. It is not a "crusher", but simply appears to have been crushed.

You have a EM/NCO government contract cap, that has the pasteboard removed. For what reason it was removed who really knows at this point. I wouldn't call this a "crush type" cap. It is what it is, an original cap with a lot of missing parts.

You might want to ask BenVK on this forum if there is any hope for restoring the shape of the cap

                    Cheers

This type of visor is for an EM or NCO rather than an officer. Contract cap means it would have been isssued to the soldier rather than privately bought.

It is indeed infantry, with white piping.
