Guys, i am interested in the cap but i am a little sketchy on these caps as is understandable. Can anyone who has an original or at least handled one weigh in on this cap? I think it has potential but don't know about the lining??? Guess private tailored cap then? as if it were field made it wouldn't most likely have the liner it does. Others please weigh in! Matt

Field made stuff is a tough field. Unless you are getting it directly from the vet who got it from the soldier who owned it, you are just pleasing yourself. I don't know, maybe I'm gettin' jaded but, I know too many 'artists' who are quite talented with sewing machines and are not shy about cutting up something original and turning it into something more desirable. I am not commenting on this particular cap, just field made stuff in general.
