    Adelbert Schulz in a goofy looking panzer hat...

    What kind of goofy looking custom panzer hat is Diamond's winner Adelbert Schulz wearing in this postcard photo? Anybody got one to show?

    I would expect it to be a tailor made private purchase example. The large front to the cap, which allows both insignias to be seen, does make it appear rather odd.

        Adalbert Schulz was actually a pretty snappy dresser. I have seen a couple of different angles wearing this same M-43 and it doesn't look as strange. I have seen a number of photos of him in different panzer general wrappers with various insignia configurations. Personally I would love to have any uniform or hat from this particular panzer general.

          I was also going to mention that the camera angle SEEMS not to be dead on portait shot..It appears his head is closest and his waist furthest away from the lens..ergo the abnormal sized cap...JMHO Billbert
