    Thanks

I would say "original". Usually they are profusely maked.

John, for non English speaking person it may be hard to understand what you mean by writing “original” instead of just ORIGINAL or FAKE. So you mean it is original or fake? Please clarify your statement. Thanks in advance.

Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

I am not aware of these being faked yet. They don't seem to be that popular with most collectors to warrant the effort. However, in time I'm sure they will be.

I agree. From former eastern block countries...who knows? They are quite common and cheap in the USA.

looks textbook to me (minus the typical markings as others stated) I havent seen any repros of these yet. see if it has a bakelite button buried on the lower ear flap for connecting the flaps around your neck. Im sure it will have one. also 1 tie string should be longer than the other. Glenn

                  M43 winter cap

Greetings: I had posted my winter cap in March with the same question Saulius has ...is it original? No one ventured an opinion or comment. I have owned my cap for about 10 years and it appears very similar to the one Saulius has. I will bring the thread up again for comparison to this one and any comments are appreciated. Thank you.
                  Regards
                  Zeke

On my cap stamps of the manufacturer are present. Only they are not clearly visible.

Strings if to compare them among themselves they of identical length, but are sewn at different levels.
