    Heer crusher question

Good evening gentleman - I'm a new (obviously) member, and am very glad to have found this site; there's much more knowledge here than I certainly will ever have. In any event, I have a waffenfarbe question about a Heer crusher that I got in Germany about 30 years ago - would anyone venture a guess as to the branch? It looks to me like Admin, but why would an Admin guy want/need a crusher? To look cool? I've always assumed that they were desk jockeys; would not surprise me at all if I was wrong, but still seems a bit wierd to me. I do know, from this forum, that it's a Schellenberg, but that's about all I know besides the fact that it's army. As a point of reference as to how long ago I bought it, I paid about $39 in 1978 for it, and that was a lot of money on a PFC's pay. I hope my pic links work. Any/all opinions will be greatly appreciated - Pete Lord

          Hi Peter,

Welcome to the forum. The easiest way I know to post multiple photos of one item and keep them in the same thread is to hit the reply button and then go down to manage attachments and add each photo, one per reply. Type a number or description in the big box, anything will do. Right now I think there are at least 4 different threads for your crusher.

I think it is admin judging by my monitor colors. I have seen a number of admin crushers. Sweet deal on the price as you are probably well aware. Let me know if you want to double your money...ha ha. Thanks for posting and good hunting if you are still actively looking.

P.S. You might want to downsize your photos also.

welcome to the forums oh and nice looking cap
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

Nice admin hat! Rare indeed. Admin officers prior to 1938 would purchase these for "out of the office" wear.
