The shape and the front piping behind the eagle is very atypical for an M38 officer side cap

Several months ago, a member showed a similar cap + a period pic of a PZ officer wearing this style of side cap.

The piece is for sure original and I own one myself made with the same material

Those ones were made for the heer or initialy for an other organisation ?
