No problem Dan with your infantery cap, but it is an EM or NCO cap, which has been 'upgrade' by adjunction of chincord instead of leather strap.
It is a contract piece, proof by LAGO Stamp (Landes Auftragsgenossenschaft)
Gary WILKINS write in his book that caps with a LAGO (or AGO) mark are uncommon items, particulary visor caps with a lining LAGO stamp, or an ink stamp on the sweatband reverse (like yours)
A variation of LAGO concept was the Landes -Lieferungs - Genossenschaft or Regional Supply Association. LAGO members were often cap makers, furriers or both. This is an association composed by little caps makers for compete bigger maker (like Peküro, ErEl, etc....)
Concerning your M43 cap, is it pictures or there are two tons of green colour?
        Regards

I like what I see so far , about the sweat shield maybe looks like plastic but remenber some makers use very thin celluloid and from the pictures can looks like plastic but is not .

M43 is "non-standard" , or field made if Original.
