I purchased this Allgemine, SS NCO ,visor cap,from a large dealer in England around eight years ago.It is only a size 54, but a very nice visor.Please give me your opinions.Thanks,Kirk

Yes, bad insignia unfortunately but the cap looks original. It's worth noting how many UK dealers have sold and are still selling good SS caps but with repro insignia, most usually the 360 type which I understand first appeared in the 80's. What happened to all the original badges? They certainly aren't appearing for sale over here very often. What's even more puzzling is the attitude of most of these dealers. I've contacted one or two in the past to say something along the lines of "nice cap but shame about the insignia" only to get a "you don't know what your talking about" type response. I could undertsand it if these repro badges weren't well known but most of us can spot them a mile off these days.

I think the theory is; why just through the insignia in with the hat sale when you might be able to squeeze a couple hundred more out of seperate transactions. IMHO. A crime to us, but just good business sense to others. Peter
