Visor cap, what is it?

Hello everyone,
I don't know cloth headgear at all, I am usually on the helmet forum. But here goes. I have a visor cap that I know nothing about. I plan on putting it on the E-stand and am loking for information as to what it is, and what its worth. I don't know if it is a post- war modified TR cap or an all post war cap, or a mixed batch using leftover TR cap parts. Its got the cross -hatched visor underside like a TR cap. Its in very good condition. sweatband has a couple cracks in it nar the perforated "Pekuro" lettering. An interesting note is that it appears to have a size
(57) and price in the slot of the makers diamond where you would slip in your name. Looks like price was DM 12.50. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated

I think what you may have there, Paul, is a wartime made Feldgendarmerie
visor that was reused or first-used postwar. Or possibly a very early postwar made cap which still utilized all original wartime components. Very neat example IMO.
