Fantasy Hat...or what ?

I saw this strange hat,what could be ? Fantasy?Fake?DDR?
I would like to know if someone knows what it is.Tha chincord seems to be TeNo,the light gray piping could be Sonderfuherer ,but the gray velvet?

Carlo--it is a BRD visor made up to look like a R.M.f.V.u.P visor. These visors (real ones) are the rarest of the rare of the regular-issue visors, and were worn only by official photographers of Goebbels' propaganda ministry. I have seen a few fakes of this, and I have waited a lifetime to see a real one in the flesh. They are so obscure, I am surprised someone knew enough about them to attempt (poorly) to fake one.
