Lovely cap you've found. You know these folks merged with the SS. It does not make this an SS cap, but a nice association though.

I agree fully, it indeed appears to be a Postal cap with RB eagle...so its a
mis-match...
and possibly a BundesPost even..so spruced up to look pretty with
added war time ReichsBahn eagle...This is not a postal cap eagle!
The sweat diamond appears to be post war soft plastic as opposed to stiff celluloid...
which reveals its true vintage...(if thats indeed the material)!
