I found this photo in a old Norwegian Book I have from the War .
"Unknown German Photo`s from 1940 - 1945" from 1990 .
Is it a Heer or KM cap ?

The cap in the photo looks to be either a field-made white cap, or possibly a bleached out tropical field cap with a T-form Adler on it. What is the name of the book that this photo is in. I would like to get a copy of it.

Billcarson.....your cap looks to be a modern Bundeswehr Gebirgsjäger cap.

Hi !
The name of the Book is " Tyske foto fra Norge " with co tittel" ukjente bilder 1940 - 45 " . Author`s is Tore Dyrhaug and Rune Sørlie .
ISBN 082 - 540 - 0144 - 8 .

If You are lucky , perhaps " DeMil " from Norway , member here on Forum have some left of this book . If I remember correct he had some for sale for a couple of years ago .

The Jägers in the photos you posted are wearing the white knit camo cover over their standard wool Bergmützen.

Hey Patrick!

I knew we had talked about this before, but I didn't recall the knit cover. The angles of the caps didn't look quite right, but a cover over the cap would make it appear mis-shapen.
