Indeed, HPC held the patent for this system and if it has the cockade to match, it's a rare and desirable cap.

Be very happy with that one, Turbo--while HPC is not uncommon, it is rare to find them with the correct wreath--

Whilst checking out today's frischluft cap, I noticed this one in the archives.

This one also does NOT have the correct "frischluft" wreath, there are no large cut outs on the sides.

I have three of these caps and the wreaths are very distinctive.

I will need to take a side on pic to show at some stage.
