    The cap is slightly gathered at the front so that the top falls forward.
    I have seen this characteristic on period photos of Gebirgs Officer's bergmuzte. This cap has features that are both M43 and Bergmuzte and I believe it may be a type of "transitional" cap, if there is such a thing.

        The only other photo that I have that shows the falling peak.
        I'll get a head form soon and post a final shot of how the cap should be worn.

        I welcome and apreciate all comments both good and bad.
        God, I sure hope I was not duped, but if so, it was very well planned.
