The eagle looks like mr.pigeon head unfortunately, the skull might be bad as well, sorry JT.

As for the hat itself, well I'm speechless because I've finaly seen another HH from Kronach and the interior is a spot on match.

Hello, I'm readu for another night shift.

Many thanks for all the positive comments, Ben's is definately a minter to mine and mine definately looks like its brother.

I will take some shots of the insignia when I do the other red piped one in a few day's time.

The cap band is velvet.

If the insignia turns out to be bum it's something I can live with, the cap itself does feel right and I suppose that is what matters the most.
