Tropical drillich cap

Hi friends and collectors, I am quite sure this is a nice period tropical cap made of drillich material, is marked with his size stamp "60"
The cap is worn but still in nice condtion, all opinions are welcome specially from Afrika collectors, is the first time I see one like this.

Post war manufacture,looks like a sweatband out of a visor,odd markings etc.IMO

I would agree as to it being a piece from a Hollywood wardrobe dept. There are a number of similiar ones floating around here in SoCal and I have been in possesion of several over the years.
