    Hi Don,

    Thanks, I didn't even consider the Germans might have printed the I like our J, I took Kraeger's advice and checked the piping, it was definitely white before, so it has definitely been dyed.

          I would like to think it was dyed period as it seems to be a good colouring in job and the infantry regiment reference would be a bit of a giveaway, however any owner would have to believe the cap is period altered and that is always the big question that recoloured caps have..

          The cap is a nice full on Pekuro, very sexxy...

            I agree with Don,he is wright !
            In german J is for I ,here is a gepruft in my infantry Erel NCO I posted some weeks ago,14/JR19.
            So the hat was died for sure.
