Good buttons, probably good emblems, good chin strap but not Kriegsmarine, ... but unfortunately bad cap, another post war one IMO, sorry.

Agreed - a stitch-up. Quite a production. The insignia alone must have cost him a bit.

Thanks for all in input. I got it cheap, so should be able to recoup my "investment" by selling the insignia.
