side cap insignias Heer & LW : opinions

I just bought this salty Heer eagle for sidecap and this LW cocarde. Personally I don't see anything wrong with them and they look ok to me, but somebody thinks that they're both not good. I would like other opinions. Thanks

PS - colours aren't too real due to flash. Just for reference, they're both UV test negative.

i would say the eagle looks bad i cant say much about the cockade

not too sure, i like the eagle, but im not sure about the the cockade as i dont have too much experience with them.

The Heer cap eagle is original. Good luck on you restoration. There is not much material to work with on the lower part of the eagle.

yep, the eagle is not in good conditions. I will try to press it to give back a shape and see what I can do.

Myself, I would use a standard BeVo cocade instead of the embroidered one that you have. The are available and at not much of a cost.

I sent sander an pm on that hat but not fast enough I see!
