    Question about "officer candidate' visors

What are your thoughts on officer candidate visors? I know the Luftwaffe had regs for this but I am not sure of the other branches, so I guess they did exist, but putting an officer cord on an enlisted visor seems like an easy way to get a few more bucks out of a visor post war.

Are there any photos of these in wear?

I have seen a studio photo of an army officer candidate wearing an officer’s cord on his visor.

          Great pictures, thanks.

Given that it would be easy to pop on some shiney buttons and a braided cord to any EM visor, is it really justified to charge a premium for an OC visor?

No I think the price must be the same ,they are indisinguible from an officer hat,it is very easy to change,a part the gepruft under the sweatband and features.IMO
