Luftwaffe winter pile hat

Greetings: I acquired this hat about 8 years ago for very little money. I have not seen any period pictures of this style of headgear and would appreciate any information if this is original or fantasy. The insignias look good as is the application of them.It is an extremely small size as shown in the picture and stitching is cotton.I'm not sure if the RBnb stamp is good. I bought it as an oddity hoping it was original. Any ideas

I placed a tape measure across the interior to give some idea how small it is.

Greetings Tony: Thanks for the reply. "In hand" it sure looks original, but not really being a dedicated cloth headgear collector, I was not sure.
