I would like an opinion on the eagle of this Luftwaffe tropical side cap. To me the side cap itself is original but the eagle? The original one has been removed and replaced. What do you think original or Mickey Mouse?

Is the eagle's head really as big as it appears in the pic?

I personally don't like it. The wing feathers are odd, the swas. is distorted while the background material is not and the previously mentioned head shape. Ialso prefer grey thread as opposed to the white shown here. Could it be a shirt eagle?

I have checked with a spare shirt eagle I have and it is about the same size. I think you're right.
