Many thanks for the comments! I really appreciate you taking the time to look and give your input. I really hope this one is still available?

It was offered to me a couple of days ago at a really FANTASTIC price, hence the reason for asking whether it is real or not, but its coming from someone who, IMO, does`nt know what they have there??

I have`nt heard from them in a couple of days, so I`m keeping my fingers crossed that its still available?
I believe they sell in the region of about $2500 - $3000;? is this correct?

Hi Dion,

I like the cap, looks very good to me. BUT!!!
The cap is never 2500 up to 3000$ worth!! NEVER!!
It is an Ortsgruppenleiter, see the blue piping.
The blue piping is the cheapest piping from NSDAP caps.

It is about 1000$ worth. I would say from privat maby 750$ worth, but not more. Maby a Gauleiter (darkred piping) is that amount of money worth but not a blue pipied political cap.

I agree, its a 100% original Orts visor by Felix Weissbach of Glauchau ("Fewegla")--#27. This maker is the most common for all Orts visors--a large stockpile of their wares must have been overrun by the GI's at the end of the war.

I agree, the hat isn't worth more than $900, and that, imho, would be overpaying for it--$750 would be more reasonable.
