YOur Thoughts on this Police M43 Hat

Hi everybody,

I'm interested in this m43 police hat which looks pretty good to me. I'm not a police collector and I'm not an expert on police hats in general. However I'm attempting to build a late war police collection and would like you thoughts on this M43.

One thing that has me on edge is the fact that the hat has no markings?

Well, No expert am I either, but it strikes me as Original for what little it may be worth.

According to Gary Wilken's headgear book, this type hat hasn't been heavily faked as of yet although I'm sure that will change soon if it hasn't already. I have owned 3 or 4 which hardly makes me an expert but I like this cap. Missing or obliterated markings are much more likely on an original item than on a repro in my experience.
