If anyone wanted to publish a book about some of the most outstanding headgear ever seen, they'd only have to download these photos.

I think this thread is definitely worth being pinned.

            Well, it's 2008 but I will post anyway ...

This one is probably my favorite. It was in my collection for some years, I sold it in 2005, and bought it back in 2007.

By the way, it is mounted on one of those wonderful stands from Skipper Greenwade. Thanks, Skip!

              Mike,

I have always loved that visor and I am glad you got it back.

BTW is that a cased brocade belt in the photo?

                Brocade

                John,

Yes, it is a cased brocade. And don't you like the way so many of us like our model airplanes and tanks?

                  Dear Mike,

Awesome visor! I must admit defeat; it is better than mine!

You know, a stone mint cased '26' EK1 would really look nice next to that visor!

                  Respectfully,

                  MIKE

                      - I ahve save a special spot here with me when you get tired of the visor and belt!

I can even make a bit more room for a minty IC

                        Zoll officer's bergmutze

What about a Zoll officer's bergmutze with silver BeVo insignia (customs officers never had silver crown piping) which I got from a fellow WAF member who got it from a garage sale this year!
(I obviously don't just collect head gear...)

Greetings: I was going to start a thread to determine the model of this hat...but after seeing the other two superb examples of Polish caps, will place it here first. I'm not sure if this one is as rare as the first two listed here, but it has awesome character when you hold it.I believe it is, and correct me if not, a M37 Polish field cap.
                            Regards
