I know that Landes-Lief-Gen.d. equal Landes-Lieferungs-Genossenschaft (LAGO), but this mark doesn't permit to identify maker or other????

I dont think you find out who made them for this LAGO contract order..Maybe others have more incite BUT that info would be news to me.. This style example berlin contract is seen ...JMHO

There is only one maker of handmade hats in my files for Berlin, NW7 and that is the company of Ernst Fischvoigt. It might possibly be made by them.

Hi Fellas, Just my opioion. I had three of these hats all made by landes-lief. Flak, fire, and signals. I like the style and workmanship they have it looks crisp and feels good. The Flak hat that I have also came with a classy black leatherette type hat box with a very light (ink worn off) impression logo of landes mark in the lid. Inside box is all lined with a blue fabric. IMHO the company seemed to really put out a good product. Must have set the fella back a bit The Flak hat I still have is a 1938 still one of my overall favorites. Paul
