SS M43 officer cap opinions please

I don´t understand why it is necessary to share thought about liking the different models desirability or the opposite, it somehow take the joy away from the new owner to hear a lot of well know and respected forum members acting this way?

There is a lot of branches of the 3Reich I find less interesting than my main field of interest and some collectible I would never want in my collection but I don´t have the need to tell the collectors of them that I find it ugly or less interesting because I know and can see how much they enjoy collecting them.

Make a thread and make a pool with different ss headgear and share your thoughts and field of interest.

I like the cap but it is no secret that I would prefer a nice original ss visor cap but I simply can´t afford it so I will have to settle with this for now

The one vet obtained SS Officer M43 cap Ive seen and examined was one made of rough wool and well worn, not the "Italian Gabardine" so I too dont get excited about them, they may be real found stock post war but when were insignias added is the question?

I think about this items could be judge only in hand.
