what waffenfarbe is on my hat?

I don't know what is a waffenfarbe on my new visor
It's not a typical red - maybe you can help me

Hey Frozzer, that insignia looks nice. Gently pull back the base of the piping to see if you can see the original colour below. Golden yellow shows up a touch on my screen.

How about a full on pic, so we can see the rest of the exterior.

Looks almost like copper brown on my screen Also check piping in the back under the top. More photos please.

Looks like golden yellow that has been dyed or coloured orange to me.

From the pictures looks like the visor cap piping has been dyed or coloured to orange .pull the piping from the cap and take a look if you can see the real color piping

it dosen't looks like to be coloured or dyed
colour is the same in areas close to material on all of pipping
somewhere it's dirty from hands but still is the same colour

if it will be painted or dyed or coloured then on material close to pipping will be marks of paint (or dyed areas) - but it isn't
