Here is another one--I have my doubts about it (& it looks like a pebble-finished underside to the visor, too):

That cap is a joke but I think that logo is post war West German.

Another Derwig fake (which I believe is a ground-up repro, and not a Franky--definately BRD gabardine wool:

Hello Gentlemen,
In the last couple of examples, all omit the SONDERFORM! In other words, they all lack the special shape for which Derwig specifically was intending to produce. Part of this was the padding they used in the front of the cap, which gave them a very pleasing shape in the front.
Actually, I just purchased an infantry example off eBay.DE. Once I receive it, I will post pictures.

Hello Gentlemen,
Here is a recently received Derwig Sonderform infantry officers visor cap. It is made of excellent quality, doeskin wool, and it exibits an lovely sonderform! Sadly, denazified, and the sweatshield is worn and just hanging on by several threads yet. Otherwise, a wonderful example without damage. This will appear in the e-stand in the future.
