Pekuro was a cap maker that use the "Stirndruckfrei" method, the velvet band inside for a smoother more comfortable less static fit.

Is it me or is the outer band black?

Exactly! Odd the initials have zero wear yet the inside does. I don't like the markings on the sweatband either. None of it looks period to me.

at the front its fine doskin cloth with pink wool piping and the insigna and cocade is period the cocade have a slight of oxidation too the chincord is ok thats my imo.

lining is green rayon material ,it never had a sweatshild but you can see a few signs of print of the logo myebe not on the pichture but.

the lether sweatband have a manufachter name have anybody heard of that firm.
