What happened at the Max re headgear?

So how about a report about cloth headgear at the MAX? What was selling well at the MAX? Were SS visors the usual "hot" items? What else was hot? What about fakes? What about prices? Anything not selling either because of price or lack of interest? What about unusual or one of a kind hats?

Hey that's OK! While I didn't divert the thread with the non-MAX purchase,
I did realize that it would surely jump the tracks (and go blazing off into oblivion )with my honest opinion of the cap in question. For that I do apologize.

I was just here to enjoy the MAX Show pictures too . . .

I was at MAX and met a lot of forum members there. I was there to socialize, not buy this time. Stewart's Militaria opened up boxes from a collection and I was 2 minutes too late. $500 Keilhosen went and excellent near mint Heer M43 cap came out for $450.

I picked this up even without looking.
