Its actually an RMBO (Eastern Official's) middle-ranks winter visored field cap.

thanks for identifying it, I knew someone here would know more info, I couldn't find it in the books. It has Silver Piping by the way.

Bill Shea has a variant of this last time I looked as does Relic Hunter (albeit not a winter cap). You don't see them very often which makes them nice.
